01. COMPANY HISTORY

IGL Relocation is a division of Interport Global Logistics that was established in 1991. As currently one of the most well-known professional global relocation solution providers in the logistics industry across the world, IGL has come a long way since its inception. Initially, the company catered to local transportation and relocation services, from which it gradually expanded to encompass critical relocation services like Warehousing, Transport & Distribution, Custom Broking, Forwarding, Project Cargo Handling, Air Cargo Handling, Import and Export Consolidation, Packaging, 3PL Logistics, and International & Domestic Relocations; IGL has also learned the importance of providing international relocation services that go beyond basic transportation, packing, and moving.

As IGL grew from strength to strength, its ambit of packers and movers operations expanded beyond national boundaries. The vision of the Company’s Chairman & Global CEO, Sham Bendre, enabled IGL to drop anchor at major ports all across the world.

Today, IGL Relocation has established global relocation offices in major cities/ports all over India. Additionally, IGL Relocation offers warehousing facilities, state-of-the-art transport equipment that can handle any cargo independently, and industry experts that understand the complexities of international relocations and moving services. The company also has access to major international ports through its branch offices, as well as an overseas network of agents.

IGL Relocation’s global team of international movers and expert professionals is capable of delivering the full range of destination management services that any of our clients need. Our corporate relocation services and international relocation services include everything from pre-shipment advice, relocation program management, relocation consulting, expense management, insurance advice, accommodation advice, and schooling advice to international and domestic transportation of household goods, transit protection, home and school search services, advice on coaching children, and a host of departure and destination services for relocating expatriates, employees, transferees, diplomats, and both corporate as well as individual customers.

Our company is a registered MTO (multi modal operator) operating under own Bill of Lading. Our company is also registered IATA, FMC, OTI and CHA license holder. Our MTO Bill of Lading is insured with the British Marine Luxembourg SA Marine & Transport Intermodal cover.
